Using the Gripple Tensioning Tool
The Gripple Tensioning Tool is purpose designed to apply tension of up to 300 Kg / 600 lbs on rope joined with a self-locking wire Rope Grip. It accommodates Gripple sizes up to 6 mm (1/4"). Its powerful lever action will tension and re-tension in a matter of seconds.
It works by holding the Gripple body and pulling wire through using the cam and anvil. If you have left a large loop at the termination point, use the Gripple Tensioning Tool on the tail end to pull more rope through. Alternatively, pull more of the "load bearing" section of rope through using the tool inside the loop.
